Come to Boise and we'll take you to Breakfast

Don't you love paid holidays? I love paid holidays because I stay in bed and catch up on reading blogs and updating my own blogs. Dan is still working his tail off at nursing school. He's about a month away from the halfway point of the semester! He's amazing.

We've settled into our little place and are making friends with people from church. We've already gone on a double date with another couple! We also got invited to dinner for next Sunday at a church member's house.

We busted out the cruiser bikes this week and I wish I would have taken a picture. We rode to Winco and didn't realize how hard it would be to balance 30 pounds of groceries  in my basket. It was a slow..slow..slow..ride home. We've been out riding around the neighborhoods and we rode them to church yesterday too.

Last Saturday was date night, so we went to breakfast as a pre-date night celebration. Our favorite place is called The Egg Factory. Our friend Jessica took us there when we first started checking out Boise and now it's not only OUR favorite place, but it's the place we take all of our loved ones when they come to visit.

We went at 7:30 a.m. On a Saturday. That's how good it is.

So excited to be up at 7:30 a.m. to go to EGG FACTORY!!!

Dan went for an old trusty combo- buttermilk pancakes, ham, eggs, and factory potatoes. Last time he ventured out on a limb and got the bacon waffle.

I went on on a limb and got the Dairy Man's special with a 1/2 cinnamon roll for my choice of bread. It was death/heaven in a bowl.

Layers of factory potatoes, sausage, gravy, and cheese, topped with eggs.
The second installment of the date was going to Skyfall with our new favorite friends in the ward. They are British! They are the best. Cecily teaches classes at the gym I go to and she invited us to join them on their date night. It was awesome.

V-Day was simple, thoughtful gifts for each other and a delicious homemade dinner of Chicken Alfredo, garlic bread, and cherry cheesecake.  Every year we read our eHarmony letters to each other. It takes FOREVER and this year we only made it through about 1/3 before we were both asleep.

If you come visit us, we'll take you to egg factory because I know at this point, you skipped right over the Valentine's love fest part and you're staring at the Dairyman's special and cinnamon roll wishing you were eating it right now.

If that's not incentive enough, we'll let you ride our bikes around the block to burn it off.
