To finish up the rest of August before I'm hit with the month of OCTOBER, here we go. We had my brother Brad and his wife Michelle come stay with us for labor day weekend. The weekend was packed with activities and family parties. I caught some action at our house with the kids but that's about it. We always LOVE to have the Cramers come to visit. It's always a giant party in our little apartment. Here's the rundown of our activities:
- Everyone including my parents, cousins, siblings, etc went to Payson for the $1/ride carnival night
- Trip to temple square which involved Dan and Candace's husband Mathew switching clothes so all the boys except Dan could go golfing. They had to switch clothes because a collared shirt was part of the dress code and jeans were not allowed.
- After a quick nap we all went to Payson to celebrate my cousin's son's 1 year birthday. She went all out and had a carnival theme with games, a bounce house, face painting, food, and prizes. It was AWESOME!
- Sunday involved church, 8 adults and 3 kids eating lunch at my apartment, then going to my uncle Ken's church to see my cousin Tyler advance in the Priesthood, followed by an amazing dinner at Ken and Julie's house. After the dinner, all the adults had deep doctrine and social issues conversation for hours.
- Monday was the labor day celebration in Payson. We missed the parade, but I did show up in all white from head to toe for the family barbecue. After the dinner we went to the carnival and rode the zipper and the orbitor. Candace and Mathew were with us and we shared some carnival food then took the scenic way home through Elberta.
